Pro-Palestine demonstrators filled the streets of London on Saturday, Jan. 31, demanding an immediate halt to British arms sales to Israel and condemning ongoing violations of the Gaza ceasefire, Anadolu reports.
The crowd gathered at Russell Square before marching to Whitehall, the seat of the British government.
Protesters directed their anger at the Prime Minister’s Office at 10 Downing Street.
Cambridge academics have accused the university of "maximal obfuscation" over details about its £4.2bn ($5.74bn) endowment fund and its links to arms manufacturers, according to reports.
Some senior staff have told The Guardian that they cannot properly examine these investments because the university has not been open about which companies are involved.

Ik zag dat net en mijn hart maakte een sprongetje, helemaal toen ik ook nog zag dat hij daarna nog reageerde op reacties op zijn post.
Hij postte helaas wel een linkje naar BigTech want z'n nieuwe liedje staat op YouTube (bij Google). Ik heb hem meteen even een prive-berichtje gestuurd, maar misschien is het beter als we hem gewoon allemaal laten weten dat je zonder BigTech een beter leven hebt.
