Do we think Krugman is retiring because he knows Trump would send him to jail for saying common sense shit

Investigations into youth and adult trans care… This would be fulfilling a promise Trump made last year: β€œat any age.”

It’s notable that in the Supreme Court hearing this week, justices and attorneys kept going back to the fact that if equal protection is denied, trans adults could be targeted just as much as trans youth.

1. Yesterday, Nancy Mace used a slur targeted at transgender people in response to bathroom sit-ins. The slur was posted to her official account, which could pose trouble for her as clear evidence of discriminatory animus in her anti-trans legislation. Subscribe to support my journalism.

Nancy Mace Calls Trans People ...

2. Yesterday, several transgender activists from the Gender Liberation Movement, inspired by Civil Rights Era and ACT UP demonstrations, held a sit-in in a Congressional bathroom near Speaker Mike Johnson's office. Prominent public figure Chelsea Manning was part of the protests.

3. The sit-ins come after Speaker Mike Johnson and Congresswoman Nancy Mace put into place a bathroom ban targeting the first transgender congresswoman, Sarah McBride. It also affects staffers and journalists who frequent Congress.

These lawsuits against doctors providing gender affirming care have an absolutely abysmal record. It's honestly hilarious that everyone on the right-wing anti-trans bandwagon was playing up some big news to drop and it turns out to be this.

Seeing people criticising trans people for pointing out the guardian's persistent and systematic transphobia during the strike means that's enough social media for the day. You can't demand solidarity from the people you subject to violence on a regular basis.

The preschooler is watching Christmas cartoons, and. In defense of the Grinch. The Whos down in Whoville really do make an excessive amount of noise

Chelsea Manning and other trans people hold sit in inside of bathroom across from Speaker Johnson’s office. Classic Act Up era tactics here. They were told according to Pablo they would be arrested for sexual misconduct.

In those marble halls, I hugged L.W. and her family and told them, with the most sincerity I’ve ever spoken, thank you, before heading off to the press seating. Casey Parks spent the day with the family at SCOTUS. I’m so proud of this kid and her family for fighting. Read Casey’s story.

11000 retweets and 1 million views on this absolute nonsense fueled by @tbinvestigation’s fearmongering, which was immediately contradicted by every police department in Tennessee. Watch their disinformation work.

Chase Strangio, first trans attorney to argue at SCOTUS, walks out to cheers.

Chase Strangio walks out of the court to cheers after he becomes the first trans attorney to present a case to SCOTUS. Video too big in size but will post later.

1. Today at the Supreme Court, Amy Coney Barrett emerged as a potential wild card, with at least one attorney in other LGBTQ+ cases expressing her questioning was curious. In particular, she seemed surprised to learn about the history of anti-crossdressing laws. Subscribe to support my journalism.

Amy Coney Barrett Surprised By...

Just got out of the court. So much to say. History made watching Chase argue as the first trans person to argue there. Hugged the parents and cried. Now outside with my readers. Will report on the specifics of the case soon.

I'm not proud of this but I am hungry for more documentation of the Trump/Elon working partnership and in particular more photographs of them making each other miserable

Never in the history of humanity have two people deserved each other's company more
