We have always relied on the oil and gas industry to self-report methane emissions. Now we have independent ways to of measuring those emissions and it turns out they were lying about the emissions. By a lot. The blue lines are actual measurements. The pink are industry numbers.

it is also the small progress here and there that it is so rewarding. Seeing the tooling, the teams, or the organisation taking micro steps towards agile and open mindsets. Well then it is worth the, at times hard frustation, and org politics. #OpenSource #Ospo (2/2)

Yes, I am still monitoring the bridge to mastodon on my personal account (@stephanhacker2.bsky.social@bsky.brid.gy), but so far the coverage of my bluesky posts is spotty at best. It has only 3 of my posts bridged to mastodon as far as I see.

Seeing people criticising trans people for pointing out the guardian's persistent and systematic transphobia during the strike means that's enough social media for the day. You can't demand solidarity from the people you subject to violence on a regular basis.
