Same here, I also have several ways of supporting me, see: melroy.org/thanks.html.
I do have some small donations and 1 or 2 people paying monthly. But this is for all the open-source projects I contribute towards (which are 50+ projects), plus all the servers and infrastructure I run, plus all the time I spend helping people in the chat, forum or online.
Just to give people a perspective, a single 10GbE S5850-24S2Q switch from FS is costing me €1466 (excl VAT). A single rack DPU is costing me 593 euros (excl. VAT). A single DEC3852 firewall is costing me €1600 (excl. VAT). I now get 5 euro per month, so to cover of ONLY these 3 devices above, it will take: 731 months == 60 years. Don't get me started on all the other hardware I have, maintenance costs and electricity bills etc. We are talking way over €10.000 per year.

Hey @universalhub or @gbhnews immigrant question: I thought #boston wasn't allowed to take sides in this. I expected some sort of treaty. Or Boston pizza to be a donut. 😉
It's been very sad watching the way the Audubon Society has been mismanaged over the past few years. I know people who work in that organization and do great, important conservation work, but at the moment, I wouldn't give them a cent. Their union busting, and now their signing on to the Elon Musk legal tactic of challenging the entire existence of the NLRB, is unacceptable. This is a CEO and board problem, and it needs to cost them money.

Some reflections on the decline of dating apps.
Activist investors are circling Match, including the terror machines at Elliott Management. But 79 percent of women say they don’t want to use apps ever again. The shift away from dating apps is happening as Match is trying to squeeze more money from its users.
gog.com/game/shogun_showdown Acaba de salir este juego del early access. Muy buenas reseñas y está en GOG donde los juegos que compras son tuyos y además es más barato.
Me lo he pillado porque soy muy fan del genero, a ver que tal.

it's roots are in a French plan to put coal + steel under joint venture (French controlled) state owned company (because coal + steel was important to make arms and tanks)
so yes it's largely a block with focus on economy... not so much democracy? X-D en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European…
all it did for it's citizens is abolish abhorrent roaming phone costs (Swiss still charges them because they are not EU) focusing only on economic issues is imho stupid and dumb as the whole thing then has no "soul" of "let's make the world better"
all poorer East European countries had massive increase in wealth while STILL hating von der Leyen (from Germany)
yes economically Brexit was catastrophe X-D so have a really good plan after the revolution

Today is my birthday. I am one of those people who enjoys a little fussing over my birthday. I am going to work (I like my job).
Send me a picture of something you like (pet, nature, headline, gif, food, book, I am not particular)?
🎂
We vote by mail here in WA and I have zero idea why it should be required to use a secrecy sleeve. If I don't care if someone sees my vote why does it matter. It's the stupidest reason possible
