"Our support for Ukraine's territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence is unwavering.
The return of Crimea to Ukraine is a requirement of international law," Erdogan declared in a video message to the Fourth Crimea Platform Leaders Summit.
He highlighted Türkiye’s stance on Crimea, stressing that its return to Ukraine aligns with international legal standards, pointing out the enduring pain experienced by Crimean Tatar Turks, whose suffering has persisted for eight decades.
Erdogan also expressed confidence in further actions to support the Crimean Tatar Turks, saying: "I believe that additional steps will continue to be taken to strengthen the rights of the Crimean Tatar Turks in the upcoming period."
Upside-down world. In all my pictures of power lines, they always appear black. It never occurred to me to think about their actual color. Until this first image. The sun lights them up so that they shine brightly, almost silver, while the barbed wire, which is normally silver, appears black. Only then did I realize that power lines have no insulation and you can actually see the bare metal. They likely appear black in my photos because, on one hand, they are exposed against a brighter background, and on the other, they reflect the darker ground. Fascinating!

in reply to (moving) APOD • • •I’ve found that particular guy when trying to point him out to others, but it’s not my guy. The guy I’ve always seen most of my life has a much broader more complex and realistic paredolia. Those ‘eyes’ are both part of the left eye in the face I see. Larger, like Jackie Gleason being tweaked from a Honeymooner’s logo.
The way photos tend to compress the range of contrast make a huge difference in what seems to reveal itself.
