The contract for the renovation of the train station was worth 65 million euros, its terms kept back as state secret, part of a bilateral agreement between Serbia and China.
The reconstruction was done by China Railway International Co.Ltd and China Communications Construction Company Ltd, as well as Serbia's Institute of Transportation CIP. The public does not know as of yet who the subcontractors were and who supervised the project.
