@PedalHoppy many companies in the U.S. are required to ask these questions to show that they are not discriminating. So if they have 100 applications, 10 from white people and 90 from Black people, and they hire only hire the 10 whites people, thatโs suspect.

Iโve seen a few studies of people applying for jobs with white names and Black names. Same resumes. And the white names get the call backs more often.
Makes me so sad and angry. Thatโs why I keep fighting for justice.

Tried loading Mastodon on both browsers concurrently. It loaded up immediately in Vivaldi, it just loaded in Firefox as I was finishing up this post.
For the record, I'm in the KDE Desktop environment in Ubuntu.
