It surprises (and annoys) me that, after at least 7 years, @ubuntu still drops the snap folder smack dab in the middle of the Home directory. I expect that sort of behavior from Microsoft, not-so-much a Linux project. I'd be satisfied if they just capitalized the folder name to Snap. I'm not a coder, but it seems as if it would be a simple fix. Apparently not.
