I just cannot fathom these mega fires. I am so heartbroken for everyone affected. It's also so moving to see so much bravery such courage in the people fighting all this and I wish all of those people were going to be cared for as well but instead we know they're not. Yet whatever this feeling is watching people come from other states and countries to help our home of California, it's a really important human feeling.

Can’t believe #Apple still trashes all your playlists if you unsub from #AppleMusic

I still see too many stories of this from Apple-related subreddits. Of course, most people still—STILL—don’t run any kind of backup. Many are iPhone/iPad only, don’t have iCloud, so don’t have iCloud backups

(But you can’t pull specific items out of iCloud backups anyway, so moot point)

These playlist take a meaningless amount of storage, yeah? Shouldn’t Apple retain them? This feels like dark pattern junk

you should get to to choose. As a rule I don’t like companies retaining my personal data if I unsubscribe, no matter how small it is. But streaming services are an exception because I like to be able to pause them.

could you put that print in that mold and heat the mold to the edge of its glass point and blow compressed air through to iron all the outer surfaces to the contour of the mold, like blow molding but way slower and at lower temp with all the wrong materials?
