European Union has decided to surpass Russia in military capability within the next five years, according to Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, as quoted by Reuters.
Following a European Council meeting, Tusk announced the EU is committed to achieving a full-fledged defense capability by 2030. The five-year timeframe was based on an analysis by NATO chief Mark Rutte, which estimates that Russia would need that time to recover its offensive potential after its losses in Ukraine.
