Een eendagswedstrijd naar Siena, vermomd als Giro-rit. Het zorgde voor de wedergeboorte van de Belg Wout van Aert. Maar in diezelfde rit werd klassementsrenner Primoz Roglic ver teruggeworpen door een lekke band op het Toscaanse gravel.

A craggy coastline made up from various shades of grey and black rocks. There’s some calm sea in an inlet to the centre right, a little higher on the left we can see some green, scrubby seaside plants that have somehow found a place to grow among the rocks. In the background a cliff face slopes steeply up to the left and the sea-sky horizon can be seen to the right. At the land side of the inlet, standing in front of a large black boulder is a magnificent grey heron standing ankle deep in the sea. Blackhead Path, Co. Antrim. 18th May 2025.
