Over a thousand activists from North African countries are participating in the convoy as a "symbolic act" to spotlight Israel's crippling siege on the territory.
The "Soumoud" convoy, meaning "steadfastness" in Arabic, set off from Tunis on Monday morning, spokesman Ghassen Henchiri told Tunisian radio station Mosaique FM.
He said it includes 14 buses and around 100 other vehicles, carrying hundreds of people.
They plan to cross to Egypt by Thursday, and continue on to the city of Rafah near the Gaza border.
Organisers have said Egyptian authorities have not yet provided passage to enter the country, but Henchiri said the convoy received "reassuring" information

Today in Labor History June 10, 1937: The mayor of Monroe, Michigan organized a vigilante mob of 1,400 men armed with baseball bats and teargas to break the picket line at Newton Steel. As a result, eight strikers were injured and hospitalized. The vigilantes also vandalized sixteen of the workers’ cars dumped eight of them into the river. During this same strike wave in the steel industry, there was a Memorial Day Massacre, in Chicago, in which the police beat and shot scores of people, including men and women, killing at least 25. There was also the Women’s Day Massacre, in Youngstown, Ohio, in which 2 workers were killed. 10% of the union at that time was made up of African American workers. Although few women worked in the industry, they played a pivotal role in the strike, walking picket lines with the men, risking life and limb in confrontations with the police.

Unfortunately, I can't add a poll and a picture... so I've numbered the offcuts of carpets 1-9.
I'm leaning towards 3 of them... and if I pop down to their warehouse I could choose from even more. But if I can get a rough idea of the shade I prefer.
It's a bedroom, and the bed is a darkish grey fabric covered base & headboard too.

Funnily enough, I had the brown version of that carpet through the upstairs of my old house. It's very durable and good for high traffic areas, not so great in bedrooms unless paired with a thick underlay... and I've got a 12mm underlay going down.
However... my mum came to live with me a few years ago and she hates it with a passion, and because I'd like to do the same carpet through all 3 bedrooms upstairs as well as the landing and stairs... she's effectively put a veto on that one.
I'm leaning towards 3 or 4... more towards 3.
