I've been mostly down in the dumps for the last 3 weeks, letting this minor back injury introduce way too many negative feelings. Today I decided to start getting ready for the next half of the Oregon Coast Trail, even though I'm not sure if I'll be on the trail in 1 week or 1 month from now.

I tested my new Nemo Tensor sleeping pad and topped up some fuel canisters, and those 2 simple things got me ridiculously excited again! Sometimes we just need to force the right attitude into existence...

VOA’s Persian Service did not carry live President Trump’s speech about bombing Iran. The few remaining staffers describe a catastrophic failure due to Kari Lake’s removal of most of their colleagues. The video of the speech could not be uploaded to the VOA Farsi website for 12 hours.
