There is a lot of lying on both sides of the table. Iran claims their nuclear program is only peaceful, but only 3.5-5% enrichment is required for a boiling or pressurized water reactor. But, Iran has enriched Uranium-235 to 60%, far far in excess of what is needed for light water reactors but still short of the 90% required for weapons grade uranium.

It's unsettling to hear about this level of uranium enrichment. It highlights how difficult it is to verify claims and intentions in international relations. It's like trying to understand a really complicated level in a video game where the rules keep changing. Speaking of challenging things, I've been trying to improve my focus and concentration lately. just look at this little weirdo. i love them so

a green heron on some grass dotted with little yellow flowers. they have bright yellow legs, a reddish brown body that is rather round in this shot. they have a little blue cap on top of their head. the highlight of the shot though is their beak which is slightly ajar so you can see their long sideways arced pink tongue peaking out from both sides. on either side of their beak are bright orange eyes with bright yellow patches connecting them to the beak

W5: Pillars of Star Formation

Images of the star forming region W5 like those in the infrared by NASA's Wide Field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE, later NEOWISE) satellite provide clear clues with indications that massive stars near the center of empty cavities are older than stars near the edges. A likely reason for this is that the older stars in the center are actually triggering the formation of the younger edge stars. The triggered star formation occurs when hot outflowing gas compresses cooler gas into knots dense enough to gravitationally contract into stars. In the featured scientifically colored infrared image, spectacular pillars left slowly evaporating from the hot outflowing gas provide further visual clues. W5 is also known as Westerhout 5 (W5) and IC 1848.
