Man, a real shame but I hope it's for the best for everyone involved. The in house animation creator sounds cool but also like a massive time sink.

#CraigMurray | You Cannot Negotiate with the Zionist West

"I see much futile discussion as to whether Israel is controlling the US or the US controlling Israel. Plainly the answer is both; there is a deep symbiotic relationship of the political classes in both places. The key point is that the Israel settler colony carries an insupportable weight in the policy decisions of Western politicians. Like all colonialism – and as outlined by Lenin and Hobson – this is because colonialism benefits the personal interests of the wealthy and military classes but is a burden on working people."

Loi Attal : Face à la répression, repolitiser l'enfance
unioncommunistelibertaire.org/…

"La mobilisation des professionnel·les de la justice des mineur·es n'aura pas empêché la loi Attal d'être votée. Cette réforme, qui va intensifier l'incarcération des enfants, abaisser les seuils de majorité pénale pour une partie d'entre eux et punir les parents en difficulté, est un pas supplémentaire vers le démantèlement de la justice des

Land and life change climate

"Expected air moisture is missing over drier areas worldwide, possibly because climate models undervalue the effects of plants and other life. This finding could be a fingerprint of human-caused land degradation, which would underscore calls to solve climate, biodiversity and water availability together."

Many climatologists now agree that living beings impact climate locally by regulating exchange of energy and water with the atmosphere.

This is so interesting, key word is *locally*: “Many climatologists now agree that living beings impact climate locally by regulating exchange of energy and water with the atmosphere.”

Puts new meaning into the saying Think global, Act local; & makes me think of the farmer in Australia who started rewilding the creeks on his land, to slow down runoff & give water a better chance to soak in. Significant climatic effects within years.

@Su_G Interesting example from Australia. Do you have a link.

Climate impacts from land disturbances do not always stay local. Depending on the level of disturbance, the climate impacts can be felt a great distance away. Often, not immediately. It could be 20 years before full impacts are felt.

Not with me but when I find one I will add it; there’ve been a couple of programs on this guy’s work & it’s now become a bit of a movement (‘bit’ being the operative word - a tiny movement) as other lessees of degraded land have seen the difference. Similar to the time period you note, it was a longtime project (decade or more).

@ohmu Up until the early 1970s, it was widely accepted in scientific circles that climate change had "two legs": CO2 and land change. And then the computer modellers took over and land change slid into invisibility. Lately, it has been "rediscovered" because like so much about computer modelling, big, big gaps have emerged in the models.
