This new song, Toitū Te Tiriti, by Geneva Alexander-Marsters (Ngāti Kahungunu ki Wairoa) was featured on Seven Sharp the other day and it's really great. A song of defiance certainly but also one of hope. Sung in te reo Māori - of course - but it has a strong classical music foundation. Gorgeous and inspiring. (It's available on YouTube and other streaming platforms.)
