The colors of the summer stars.
Camera intentionally defocused. It's easier to discern colors of dots versus colors of tiny points.
First photo captures Scorpio, and also the brighter parts of our Milky Way.
Second photo captures the teapot asterism of Sagittarius, with the brightest part of our Milky Way looking like steam rising out of the teapot's spout.
These were taken on a fixed tripod.
