The UK government is facing a legal challenge for its refusal to medically evacuate critically ill Palestinian children from Gaza, despite having organized similar humanitarian efforts in past wars, such as Ukraine.
The case, filed on behalf of three gravely ill children, questions the role of both the Foreign Office and the Home Office in failing to act amid what legal experts call a life-threatening medical crisis.

The image depicts a serene park scene with a large, mature tree as the central focus. The tree, likely a eucalyptus, stands tall with a thick trunk and a wide canopy of green leaves, casting a shadow on the grass below. The grass is lush and well-maintained, with a few scattered leaves, indicating a natural setting. The sky is a vibrant blue with scattered white clouds, suggesting a clear day. In the background, additional trees and a dense forested area can be seen, adding depth to the scene. The lighting suggests it is either morning or late afternoon, with the sun casting a warm glow on the landscape. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and inviting, with no visible people or man-made structures, emphasizing the natural beauty of the park.

Fifty-five people have been arrested in London at a rally against the proscription of Palestine Action outside the UK parliament on Saturday, according to the Metropolitan Police.
Demonstrators gathered in support of the organisation, which was proscribed under anti-terror laws earlier this month.
They held up placards reading "I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action" before police began bundling attendees into vans.

Although the Labour party is denying that its fiscal management amounts to austerity, many of us detect the same logic that drove much of the previous Tory govt's fiscal actions; the problem is that austerity is a false economy, often failing to bring events thin benefits it claims, and making public services worse for everyone.
It may not be news but we *do* need to remind ourselves regularly that austerity is one key cause of the UK's problems!

@Edelruth I'm saying that no organization, church or otherwise, is important enough to preserve if it covers up heinous crimes.
The rest of your words just try to dress this up as a negative position. I don't know why you would do that, but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
@Edelruth Of course there is.
Not helping is also a crime (TL;DR).
Not helping as an institutional policy, more so. Having such a policy because your own "sacraments" supersede law is the literal definition breaking the rule of law.
