Another morning, another 4:30 alarm clock. And another cloudy sky. Bad. This is #PacmanValenta on a rather hard level, as my time here is running up.
I got up anyway and walked down to the harbour. It was all so perfectly silent, not even the pigeons dared to coo. 🥰

The first and light-wise most interesting HST of the day is the 05:33 service out of Plymouth. Not an easy one to photograph, especially not here near its departure point. But I took advantage of the light situation for what otherwise would be an against-the-light shot at the viaduct.

Aber ja, mit aller berechtigte Kritik von verschiedenen Seiten ist es trotzdem ein Schritt vorwärts, der gerade bei uns nötig ist, weil wir oft Listen mit schlechte Luft und schlechte Klimaanpassung anführen.

At the Vegetable Seller’s, a piece from Baudouin Mouanda’s series Le Ciel de Saison (Seasonal Sky) which recreates the 2020 lockdown floods in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo, with those who experienced them. During the floods it was impossible to get into inundated streets. Mouanda instead gathered personal testimonies to reconstruct the desolation later.

Given the argument that one of the reasons for so many policies that favour the retired is that they consistently go out & vote in elections (or use their postal votes, of course), will the reduction of voting age to 16 shift political interest(s) towards youth-focussed policies?

Shuab Gamote thinks it might, but of course the key issue will be for younger votes to be vocal about voting intentions (and then to actually vote).

The reason we do not deactivate it is that by far not all users run into this issue. If we 'd deactivate it, we'd probably get complaints from users asking why we prefer ntfs-3g over ntfs3.
