in reply to clarebee • • •5000 years old - older than Stonehenge, older than the Pyramids - yet somehow instantly familiar and weirdly cosy. There's stone furniture, cupboards, pottery, and even a drainage system flowing into the ocean.
The slightly disorientating thought that we still have so much in common with whoever lived here, even as our world transforms out of all recognition.
