Another trail friend! He's detouring along the Oregon Coast Trail until he reaches Cannon Beach, then returning to the PCT. When I feel exhausted, I'll remember that he's already hiked 1700 miles!
He's got an energetic, positive spirit and I can tell he's ready for anything, but I warned him anyway about the multiple river crossings and the sloped, slushy waterline he's about to encounter. I don't envy him hiking north into the wind!
