This is a reminder that Murmel's price is still a mere $1.99 with a 30-day free trial. Help us keep it at that level by signing up and spreading the word with your friends: mastodon.social/@murmel_social…

📢💰We will run an experiment of drastically reducing the price of our monthly subscription from $4.99/m down to a mere $1.99/m. That's a 60% price reduction! Of course, the 30-day free trial remains, too.

To make the lower price stick, we'd need to get as many people to try Murmel as we possibly can.

Please, help us spread the word throughout the #fediverse. We'd love to get a boost from you. Please, smash that 🔁 button! 🚀🙏

I'm not surprised that now I am expected to keep a list of reply styles and terms people, esp journalist, who want other people to not reply with what annoys them. Not talking about things people think should be CW'd, either, but phrases.

Sometimes innocuous replies that annoy you are people's way of coping. If they don't want social interactions, don't post on social media platforms.

Some demand it in such a feck'n disrespecting way, that demeans other users.

There's a lot I will self-police when I reply but keeping up with what annoys people is not one of them.

I'm to the point of unfollowing people that do this. Let's face it, more than half of social media, and probably more than 80% from the people demanding such, is nothing but reposting , with little rewording, of other peoples stuff or promoting something of theirs that go to a site that has ads or they make money on.
