I'm on a very low income but occasionally I treat myself to boost morale. Paid $30 for a vegan breakfast. Felt profoundly ripped off.
I have no problem with being served supermarket food; bog standard baked beans on toast, with chopped button mushrooms, baby spinach greens, and a lonely little hash brown. But I do resent paying bistro prices for a greasy spoon quality meal.

The last 2 are council-owned AFAIK, and should offer budget meals, affordable by anyone who visits these public recreation spaces. Not budget meals at bistro prices.
