This is the biggest week-over-week shift in my body composition I’ve ever seen.
- Weight jumped 6.3 lbs
- Skeletal muscle mass climbed 4.2 lbs.
- Body fat mass dropped 2.4 lbs.
Even though the scale went up, almost all of it was lean muscle. My body fat percentage slid from 40.4% to 38.5%.
Basal metabolic rate ticked up from 1,791 kcal/day to 1,825 kcal/day.
The crazy part? My workouts didn’t change at all. What did change was protein—I pushed intake to 180g a day.
I wasn’t sure if that would move the needle. It did.
