Trump boosts tariffs on Canada to 35%, carrying through on his threat. Good thing Carney continues to snub China making sure that Canada has absolutely no leverage against the US.

was pretty funny seeing Canada as well as france jump on that "War with Iran" shitshow, as if that had anything to do with their national interest and didn't expose all their anti-trump posturing as meaningless

My fave pics July 2025.

Here is my selection of pictures taken in July. It has been a month of cold, grainy, grey days here in Canberra, and that is reflected in my photos, I think.

I notice a propensity toward the greyscale, decomposed, and aesthetically unkempt compositions with slower shutter speeds and minimal curation. There is perhaps a glimpse of a style emerging, although I am still searching for my photographic voice.

As I have said before: I want my photographs to be poems, not pop songs.

ONE HUNDRED WORD REVIEW: “Tales From the Crypt Presents: Demon Knight”

Directed by Ernest Dickerson (“Juice”, a few episodes of “The Wire”) from a script that dates back to 1987, this 1995 feature film installment of HBO’s adaptation of the horror comic book series of the same name is now regarded as a cult classic in some circles.

It's not just you... it's annoying that every iPhone I've had acts buggy each year from July-Sept... when the new iPhones come out. This year my iPhone's screen is less responsive to touch, and there's often a delay from when I type to when the letters appear on the screen. By October the annoyance will dissipate. Welcome to "buggy iPhone summer." It seems like this is meant to make me think I need a new iPhone, but it also makes me want to ditch iPhone permanently. #tech #Apple #iPhone
