Buying a company that's taking off to keep from needing to compete against them is "market dysfunction" it's anti-innovation.

Remember that the easiest time to pass regulations is after a financial catastrophe. The Great Depression gave us decades of solid regulation. The AI crash is shaping up to be a similar scale. Start thinking about the regulations you want to see now. I posted my list a while ago, and there were some great suggestions in the replies.

It couldn't happen to a worse guy, but it is uncomfortable noticing that Ben Shapiroβ€”a Jewish manβ€”is panicking about his role on the right wing as the open white supremacists like Fuentes gain more & more public acceptance.

The dude does not deserve pity on a personal level, but damn, what a sign of how far out of hand shit has gotten.

All three Pennsylvania Supreme Court justices win their retention elections despite a massive campaign by a Republican billionaire to mislead voters into voting out three Democratic judges. Had the justices lost their elections, Pennsylvania would have had only four members on the court until 2027, with a 2-2 tie of Democrats and Republicans. The three justices have protected reproductive rights and fair judicial maps.

Podampeta is one of the most climate-affected coastal villages in Odisha where the community has been facing severe sea-level rise, repeated cyclones, coastal erosion, and loss of land and livelihoods, forcing people to relocate multiple times over the years.

It was once a village that was resided by over 400 families, but now it is a deserted one.
