My god (sorry I’m late on a bunch of this stuff. But wow!) According to this NYT report, the head of the FBI and the Attorney General are holding meetings *in the Situation Room* with GOP lawmakers they are trying to pressure to rescind their votes to release the Epstein info. This is madness.
They’re using the Situation Room presumably so nothing discussed in the meetings can be intercepted (or recorded by attendees, since phones have to be surrendered prior to access). The Situation Room is a SCIF or Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility complex. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Situati...

They make themselves look guiltier and guiltier. If they're putting SO MUCH effort in to it, despite how many of us "know" he's in there and did horrific shit, whatever Trump and pals ACTUALLY did must be far more morally reprehensible than any of us can imagine.

1. Gave a quick chat at the senior independent living place. Linda wanted help with her wireless printer. I said I'd look. She had... opened the box. What she wanted was someone to set it up I worked with the other Jess who worked there to do this. Fancy printer, needed ink reservoirs filled, my god. Difficult level: an Apple ID (to install printer software) which Linda HAD, bless her. Also she had an Italian keyboarded Mac.
Tom needed help uploading a file (a letter from a hospital showing eligibility for low-cost health care) to his dentist (prepping him for dentures). Tom couldn't find the file. In FB Messenger, text messages, email, somewhere? Decided he'd get home, take a pic, send it to me, and I'd send it to the dentist. Sometimes you just need to DO THE THING not teach the thing.

Misschien ben ik de enige maar ik háát rotondes. Die mij maar goed en logisch afgestelde verkeerslichten. Dat logisch afstellen schijnt alleen nogal lastig te zijn voor de verkeerslichtafstelmensen.
@src_esther Het grootste probleem van kruisingen, vooral die met verkeerslichten, is dat ze steeds even leeg moeten zijn om er veilig overheen te kunnen. Die 'ontruimingstijd' die in de afstelling meegenomen moet worden zorgt voor een forse capaciteitsvermindering. Een ander voordeel van rotondes, die nooit helemaal leeg hoeven te zijn, is dat ze de snelheid er altijd uit halen en daardoor het aantal dodelijke aanrijdingen drastisch verminderen. Merkwaardig dat ze deze a la hollandaise noemen. Zo te zien voldoet hij niet aan de veiligheidseisen die hier inmiddels ontdekt zijn doordat bij een fout ontwerp het aantal ongelukken te groot was. Daar komen ze nog wel achter.
