I am glad that I can brag about this paper as a co-author as my contribution has been fairly minimal. It's an alternative to soy sauce--most Canadian soy sauces contain wheat, which is not good for people like myself who have an allergy, or are gluten intolerant.
I've not tried it but I know people who do use it.
I prefer tamari sauce
