Well, there was a slight chance to capture some of the aurora lights there. I did my best to capture, while clouds kept moving in more and more. Every time I got some color in the sky, the phone decided to "improve" it and took out all the color.
I tried to switch off all Ai and assists and stuff, and still, after I took a snap... It edited it. 😭 Even in the raw and pro settings, with all assists turned off...
Now my hands are cold, the whole sky is filled with clouds and I am bummed....
The lights were only faint but still...
😢 Would anyone happen to know how to take aurora snaps with a galaxy S25 Ultra without the phone correcting them? (no tips for other cameras or phones, just ones to really help me use this phone to achieve it). Thanks in advance. 😊

I'm a (very fast) speed reader so I find video tutorials maddeningly inefficient -- most of the time.

But! I'm usually looking for information that's mostly conceptual not visual.

I also recognize that there are situations where video / visuals can help, and also that people have different learning and information processing styles.
