Y’all remember last week when I was talking about finances and shadow banking, and I said shadow banking was such a danger to the economy, I couldn’t believe it was legal?
Here’s an example. Renovo was a renovation company, founded by vulture capital in 2022, and propped up by shadow capital from Blackrock, Apollo Global and Oaktree Capital, all big players in shadow banking. Renovo went around and bought a ton of renovation companies, took a whole bunch of down payments from customers, and filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy this month.
That’s $500 million dollars vaporized out of the economy. And when I say vaporized, I mean warmly sitting in the pockets of capitalists.
This also means, the venture capital companies will be the first to be made whole, if anyone is, and the customers and vendors are just screwed.
None of the loans given to Renovo would have made it through traditional finance. Because it was a stupid business plan.

Goodman discussed the documents on CNN's "Erin Burnett OutFront."
He argued that #ToddBlanche had to know about the emails & was working to cover them up when he interviewed #GhislaineMaxwell. Goodman noted that Blanche never pushed back on Maxwell's assertion that she never saw Trump at Epstein's house.

This would also allow us to do a quantitative comparison to other Presidential scandals, as a way to address whataboutism.
