my new librarian opinion is that the book carts with fixed direction wheels on one side are better than the ones with all 4 free wheels.
when a free wheeled cart is full of 100-200lbs of books it's really hard to keep it from drifting off to one side, but a cart with fixed wheels is always going to go in the direction the fixed wheels are pointing & you just have to point it in that direction to steer
