Today, another infant, Taim Al-Khawaja, died from hypothermia in Gaza City, along with a 9-year-old girl, Hadeel Al-Masri. Just yesterday, 8-month-old Rahaf Al-Jazar also lost her life to the cold. The occupation continues to block shelter aid at the border.

Well this is rather vexing and more than a bit frustrating. I can not tell what I have done differently, but I am unable to convince #LinuxMint post reinstallation that it should launch different versions of Bitwig Studio. This is essential to my being able to be creative.
I have repeated my own instructions to myself and can get the splash screens to appear for a short time, but the application will not launch.
This is more than a bit disappointing as it leaves me with vast doubts as to if I should even be trying to exist in a #Linux environment where an errant tilde "~" can completely ruin one's experience of liberation and perceived freedom.
This is all feeling a bit too difficult for today and the times.
Victory!
1. Prepare a new, clean Linux installation.
2. Download and double-click v4.0 .deb of Bitwig Studio (let the Application Manager do its thing).
3. Download v5.0 and any pre-releases and use dpkg to unpack to your designated location.
4. Open the Application Manager and search for Bitwig Studio Flatpack and install the current version.
All versions launch.

This is one of the many insurance companies operating in Canada that have been making records this year by lobbying the government with about 25 million dollars, almost triple the amount of any year previous.
