in reply to Dgar • • •I think I put my space elevator in almost exactly the same spot on the last playthrough I did...
I also ended up with multiple floating floors, but I filled most of the dune desert with modular refineries / factories for the various ores, and a train loop to pick up the output and bring it back to the space elevator area.
Gotta say, I loved the blueprints! Built myself a refinery block that could handle 1200 ore per minute to turn it into ingots, and another that could turn those ingots into plates or bars or wire or whatever. Slapped a couple of those down at each pure node on the map and dumped any unused outputs into awesome sinks, and racked up a *lot* of points...
