On this 10th anniversary of the Paris Climate Agreement, I'm reminded of a paper that I noticed in 2020 and found to be rather lucid.
It's by US Prof of Law Noah M. Sachs and entitled:

I wondered what the situation might turn out to be as we approach 2030. Today, we know. My feeling that this paper was scarily realistic, cutting through design-flaws and nice-talking, turned out to be largely true.

sums it up! a DOH! moment?
I had a sport, shooting clay targets & a lot of UASF bases had a trap layout & used to be open to us, Bentwaters (I wont mention this is the famous ALIEN landing site!) & if the fly boys shot a straight ALL 25 in skeet! they threw their baseball hats and shot them! hanging them in the club house, sort of trophys?
I said "you ever thought that was your lucky hat"?........
next time I went they were wearing the shot to pieces hats!
