I was posting about a different TV show and started thinking about the different kinds of copaganda. I've watched a lot of detective and cop shows over the years. I think there are three basic levels:
Unbelievable to anyone: e.g. "police care about victims of police violence"
Standard: e.g. "police care about solving crimes" or "the purpose of police is solving crimes"
Base level: e.g. "police are most often basically decent people"
Well, much to my surprise, I genuinely enjoyed Red One. It's tongue in cheek and horrendously cheesy at times but is so over the top I found it a fun watch.
