Well, vor ca. 15 Jahren stand für mich die Entscheidung an: Kinder oder PHD in UK. Hab mich für Kinder entschieden. Konnte mir nicht vorstellen mich unter prekären Arbeitsbedingungen selbst für die Wissenschaft auszubeuten UND gleichzeitig eine Familie zu sustainen. Naja, ist aber auch mit einem Job in der Industrie nicht einfach. Man hat immer das Gefühl, dass man nicht beidem gleichzeitig die Aufmerksamkeit geben kann, die man glaubt, geben zu müssen.
