At the Atwater (California) aircraft museum they have a nuclear bomb casing - it is gigantic - sitting next to a B36 bomber. That casing was lost (and then discovered decades later.)

Well, the URL to load that photo seems to very much bother this diaspora code.

So here it is as text...

I've been hitchhiking around Aotearoa most summers since the late 1990s, when I was in my late teens. In 2018/19 I lived in China but couldn't speak Mandarin, or any Chinese language. I have *so* many stories I can look back on for this.

"There are a lot of really good people in the world."

That's consistently been my experience

"Fancy autocomplete" accurately describes AI.

In engineering, a slightly incorrect answer is usually disastrously worse than no answer at all.

The original knights of Camelot return

Games can’t really be copyrighted as such, but their texts and visual elements can be. That leaves some games in an intellectual property limbo, like Camelot, a strategy game published in 1930 that’s now long out of production. Today’s fans play it with vintage sets, generic grids and chess pieces, or redesigned boards. In 19 days, when copyrights expire for its rulebook, board and piece designs, they can make replica sets to play the game just like in its 1930s heyday. #PublicDomainDayCountdown

So, is that the inedible 85% dark or the regular dark chocolate?
Chocolate shouldn't be bitter, it should be joyful 🥳
in reply to Heliograph

I can get behind a decent chocolate including yummy milk chocolate 😋🍫.

#TeamMilkChocolate, sign me up!

in reply to Heliograph

@Soldusty ha! I don't think that counts, unfortunately.. I bet they also mean black coffee... so I'm failing on all counts... :(
in reply to cohan

@cohanf no no no you're still getting the real thing, no matter if it's decorated with sugary crystals :p @Soldusty
in reply to Heliograph

@Soldusty by the time the holiday season is over (late February) I should be aging in reverse..
in reply to Heliograph

I don't drink coffee (not my cup of tea, as it were), so I take this to mean I need to eat twice as much chocolate.

*For medicinal reasons. Obviously.
