#OnThisDay, 14 Dec 1918, some women across the UK vote legally in parliamentary elections for the first time. It's the culmination of decades of campaigning.

Only women over 30 who held some property rights were allowed to vote, whereas all men over 21 could vote.

It was another decade until women had equal voting rights as men.

Good morning! For this #silentSunday I want to share this #foggy path with you.

I was on my way down and when I entered the fog, temperature really dropped. Actually I didn't want to stop or slow down in order to avoid cooling out.

But at this spot I had to take a quick break for a quick photo to capture the memories of this day. It would have been smart to utilize the break to put on an additional layer - but I wasn't THAT smart ;-)

So you and I talk several times a day (the number of times and the fact that’s it’s you and me talking is metadata). The government thinks you’re a terrorist. By association and frequency of our conversations, they decide I am too and send a drone to blow me and my family up. (This is what happens in places where Brown people live. In places where white people live, your insurance premiums go up, you pay more for the same cucumber someone else just bought for less, or you end up homeless because you can’t get a job due to your political leanings.)
