It's confusing these days, but I was referring to the "x" button on facebook to tell FB to stop showing this ad, not x-fka-twitter.
The FB-Adblock war is currently being won by FB. They're showing ads in an html block that adblock can't kill because it looks like content.
apologies, I had edited my response to correct which shitty platform I was talking about , but clearly not fast enough.
Knowing how shitty Zuckerberg has been since he started his first ideas for what became Facebook at college I've never joined Facebook so also never seen its ads.
I also resolutely refuse to join any property, such as Instagram, WhatsApp, Threads, etc. that Zuckerberg poached.
Do any other ad-blockers work any better?
