In meinen Geschichten kommen eigentlich immer sowohl Wild- als auch Haustiere vor. Alle aufzuzählen, die ich je erwähnt habe, würde den Rahmen hier vermutlich sprengen, aber ich baue sehr oft am Rande ein Rotkehlchen mit ein (nicht in jedem Buch, aber in den meisten).

Eine Menge finden Erwähnung, spielen aber alle keine große Rolle. Mal schauen, ob sie mir dennoch einfallen...
Pferde, Esel, Ziegen, Schmetterlinge, ein Reh, ein Wildschwein, Krähen, ein Kaninchen, Hasen, Katzen, Leuchtkäfer, ein nicht weiter definiertes Insekt, Hahn, Hühner, ein Schaf als Opfertier (sorry 😆), Möwen, Fische, Fledermäuse und eine Spinne.
Ein Hund nur als bildlicher Vergleich. 😄 Gans und Schwein.
I was just informed that my forthcoming book SIT is in the warehouse, and I should have physical copies in my hands fairly soon. It doesn't officially launch until February, so I wasn't expecting to see it so soon. I'm gobsmacked!

My coworker sent me a photo of the advance copy. It shows how the title is glossy. The cat is also glossy, but the light isn't at the right angle to reflect off of it.
It's an excellent book, and I encourage all meditators to pick up a copy from wisdom.com when it's available.
On the Third Sunday of Advent, we light three candles - a perfect occasion to share the oldest preserved candles found north of the Alps.
The candles were made from beeswax around 1,400 years ago. They were found in the early #medieval burial site in Oberflacht. The damp environment preserved them in good condition.

in reply to Karl Voit • • •This is precisely my sticking point, and I asked for the poll, because I was curious if when forced to choose between "no, because it's not FOSS," and "no, because it's just Chrome in a fancy skin (basically)", which choice would get the most votes.
To me, the Chromium/Blink base is a bigger sticking point than the non-FOSS parts of it.
