We finally have a working fence. ☀️ If you're new to solar: this setup consists of two inverters for eight panels (240W each, making it 1,920W peak). They plug right into any power plug. I just ran an extension cord with two plugs over to the fence. No registration needed, no installer needed, no tools needed (the panels are mounted with cable ties). Cost: in total less than 900€. Next step: getting the data into #HomeAssistant. #SolarPunk

Considering the money I spent installing a wooden privacy fence, I could have saved money installing solar panels instead. And the fence would be making a lot of electricity too!

The chair was easy enough to put together except one screw. I think the screw socket had a twisted thread as the screw wouldn't go right in (yes, I tried swapping screws).

I’ve made less money this year than I have since my first year working in tech 11years ago.

But I still maintain that working for myself has been the biggest/best accessibility accommodation I’ve made for myself.
