Some have been in prison for over a year and have trial dates in 2027 for spraying paint on a jet. Why are they even in jail? This feels like punishment in itself. Their charges would be criminal damage, a 6-month offence at best. Although many juries acquit. These protestors are trying to stop a genocide. The government have done nothing to try to find a solution. Lammy says he doesn't know anything about it. One prisoner has spent over half their adult life in prison already.
