EU High Rep for Foreign Affairs Kaja Kallas posted:
"I am deeply shocked by the distressing images from the shooting at the Hanukkah celebrations at Bondi Beach in Australia.

This appalling act of violence against the Jewish community must be unequivocally condemned. My thoughts are with all those affected, their families, and the first responders who acted with courage."

Israeli President Isaac Herzog has now responded to the #Bondi attack:

"Our sisters and brothers in Sydney have been attacked by vile terrorists in a very cruel attack on Jews who went to light the first candle of #Hanukkah on Bondi Beach," Herzog says.

UK PM Keir Starmer saying the UK "will always stand with Australia and the Jewish community".

"The news that the Bondi beach attack was an antisemitic terrorist attack against Jewish families at a Chanukah event is sickening," Starmer writes on X.

He says the government is actively working with the CST, the UK's Jewish security organisation, on the policing of Chanukah events.

French President Emmanuel Macron says: "In Sydney, an antisemitic terrorist attack struck families gathered to celebrate Hanukkah.

"We share the pain of the Australian people and will continue to fight relentlessly against antisemitic hatred, which hurts us all, wherever it strikes."

Terrorism in Australia as defined by the 1995 Criminal Code Act is an act which:

Causes death or serious harm, or endangers a person's life, causes serious damage to property, causes a serious risk to the health or safety of the public, or seriously interferes with critical infrastructure; and

Is done intending to advance a political, religious or ideological cause; and

Is done with the intention to intimidate the public or influence by intimidation any government

In a joint statement on X, the Australian National Imams Council and the Council of Imams NSW say that they alongside the Australian Muslim community "unequivocally condemn the horrific shootings in Bondi".

"These acts of violence and crimes have no place in our society... our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and all those who witnessed or were affected by this deeply traumatic attack".

J'avais regardé Fedora à l'époque mais j'avais eu des alertes de sécurité post installation assez mystérieuses, mais je retenterai l'expérience.

Ce que je recherche surtout, c'est un moyen d'activer simplement le chiffrement complet du disque avec déverrouillage via le module TPM de ma machine et la possibilité de faire des instantanés du disque avec timeshift ou équivalent.

Le problème effectivement, c'est qu'aujourd'hui, les rolling release sont très populaires. Et beaucoup de projets sympa s'attentent à ce que l'utilisateur soit sur l'une de ces distributions).

Franchement, si j'arrive à trouver quelque chose qui me permet d'automatiser la mise en place du chiffrement complet du disque, le système de fichier btrfs et les instantanés sur Fedora, je suis prêt à faire la transitions
