I thought I might read the last two books of the Dresden files series by starting with Peace Talks again. Then I was reminded why I stopped reading at Peace Talks.

Harry Dresden, the orphan pyromaniac wizard wiped out an entire species of vampire just to save his daughter Maggie.

Can anyone name his other daughter? I can. Dresden never does. There was a whole book about his second daughter being born.

And that's why I had to stop.

My family is back home.
I miss them when they are away.
With my free time I got everything on my list done so I headed out to protest.
There was an energetic group of protesters in Trinidad CA. They welcomed me and my sign to their ranks. I was glad to have gone to the effort to get there. It was good to meet some, new to me , like minded people.
While in the neighborhood I treated myself to a walk up and down Trinidad head before picking up an oat milk latte for the drive home.
I sang to my old favorite songs all the way home.
It was good for me.
