Two coffees in me before the heat gets too revolting and also before I have to do work.

Very active downtown, lots of cyclists and shirtless joggers and I know I am middle aged now because when a buff young man jogs past me without a shirt on I think "ooh, hope he's wearing sunscreen".

A freedom of information request has revealed that the administration deliberately kept unusually meticulous and extremely detailed records. This was clearly done in the knowledge that the scandal could later be made public through freedom of information requests.

Watching a random video earlier, person in it said their husband bought them a notebook and pen at Christmas. A few days later they picked up the pen and paused for a moment, they had to think about how to write.
For so many years now, typing has been the norm. On our phones, at a PC, there is no reason to pick up a pen and write now.
I do write now and then, when my MH is bad, I write it all out onto paper. I love tech for easy connection to people, but typing on a phone causes real pain for me, my joints hate it.
Now and then, I ask my son (aged 18) to write something down, and I see his pause as he thinks about how to write.

It got me thinking, how often to people write with pen and paper these days? Is handwriting being lost? Do you have to think about how to use a pen?

(before anyone says, I am aware of disabilities and reasons why people physically can't write and tech is a great thing. My thoughts here are for people that went through school physically writing).

Do you ever wake up in the morning with what seems like an INCREDIBLY insightful realization or idea (probably planted by some dream), only to realize after time passes that it was actually very stupid?

I woke up CONVINCED that airport security guidelines and announcements should refer to abandoned bags or sketchy-looking luggage as “SusCases” (instead of suitcases, get it?). The pride I felt coming up with this, I tell you 🙄🤪😂
