Headed down south for match no 3, Emily has her snacks (her appetite is huge for such a tiny girl), I’ve had breakfast so can wait till we get there. Waiting on train 2 of 5 one hour down only four more hours of travel to go, good job she is worth it.

The No Man's Sky update post credited a drawing of a traveller fishing off the side of their ship as inspiration for their fishing minigame.

The original artists, while recognizing the silliness of taking the claim at face value, has rolled with the idea.

My avatar is now on the red list for endangered species in the UK.

Arctic tern, pictured in flight with a fish in its beak, on the Isle of May. They are beautiful, delicate little birds who fiercely defend their nests (you walk up from the jetty with your arm held above your head to ward them off; waving your arm is NOT allowed in case you damage them).

Oh, and their annual migration can average a 30-40,000 miles round trip. Longest migration of anything in the world.

Releasing names of 900 alleged nazi war criminals who fled to #Canada could embarrass federal government, bureaucrats told.

@hannu_ikonen An argument *against* making information public is that… it could lead to the prosecution of war criminals???
in reply to 🔥Cassandra🔥

@Cassandra @hannu_ikonen I suspect it's cause a lot of people in Canadian politics are direct descendants of literal nazis
in reply to 🔥Cassandra🔥

@Cassandra @hannu_ikonen A large part of this is that the individuals are Ukrainian and that part of Putin's strategy against Ukraine and the west (for both domestic and foreign propaganda consumption), is to portray and justify his invasion and occupation of parts of Ukraine as a campaign of denazification and protection of people he has characterized as ethnically, culturally and linguistically Russian.
in reply to Yogthos

>Some of the individuals and organizations consulted by LAC argued against releasing any of the information, warning it could be embarrassing or lead to prosecutions of the alleged war criminals.

Well now, we sure wouldn't want any alleged war criminals to be fucking PROSECUTED now would we??!!

Wow.
