The Israeli army killed 17 more Palestinians in attacks in the Gaza Strip, bringing the total death toll since last Oct. 7 to 40,878, the Gaza-based Health Ministry said on Thursday.
A ministry statement added that some 94,454 others have been injured in the ongoing assault.
“Israeli forces killed 17 people and injured 56 others in two ‘massacres’ of families in the last 24 hours,” the ministry said.

Israel’s destructive creation of a "buffer zone" in the Gaza Strip could amount to a war crime, Amnesty International has found.
An analysis conducted by the human rights group found a “pattern along the eastern perimeter of Gaza that is consistent with the systematic destruction of an entire area”.
“These homes were not destroyed as the result of intense fighting,” said Amnesty’s Erika Guevara-Rosas.

While I understand being stuck in the way things have been if #Rust is really that much better then it sounds like they should at least attempt more ongoing integration. Although maybe a #Linux compatible kernel written in Rust might be a better (and fresher) start.
