Linux distro projects, what if you could... enable... someone's distro-hopping habit when they visit your booth at a conference? What if someone was interested in trying your distro and just needed an extra nudge to get them over the hurdle?
One of our contributors developed SyncStar for this purpose! With this tool you have an easy way for visitors to install an ISO right at your booth on their own USB.

While this idea is pretty cool, I immediately think of the security risk of public USB ports.. Someone with a hak5 rubber ducky could wreck havoc on both the kiosk and the integrity of images flashed afterwards..
As long as the syncstar service is running on a device that doesn't have public access, and the USB flash drives aren't BYO, it should be fine.
