Having used #fedora for months now I can see why #nvidia on #linux has gotten such a bad reputation.

Having used #arch for many years prior basically meant typing pacman -s nvidia and never thinking about it again.

Itโ€™s a huge pain in the ass on Fedora. First finding and enabling rpm fusion. Then thereโ€™s this whole module building business. Donโ€™t restart your computer too quickly after upgrading the kernel or itโ€™ll be broken! Still blows my mind that dnf cannot just block on building akmods.

Este verano me he ido de vacaciones DE ROTONDAS. En efecto, tal y como lo leeis. Hay gente que estรก peor de la cabeza de lo que parece y ese alguien soy yo. ๐Ÿ˜˜

He pasado 15 dรญas dando tumbos por Espaรฑa y Portugal buscando un tipo muy especรญfico de rotonda que me solucionase un montonazo de problemas que tengo en un lugar de Parla. Y creo que la he encontrado.

Observad esta maravilla. ESCUCHAD esta maravilla.

Foto de una rotonda Murcia. En el medio hay una escultura metรกlica con formas extraรฑas. La estructura es de metal oxidado pero tiene formas plateadas que brotan de ella. Algunas parecen brazos, otras pinchos, otras antenas. Por algรบn motivo hay una bola amarilla tambiรฉn. Se llama "Homenaje a los poetas" pero todo el mundo la conoce por "la rotonda de los cuchillos". Como serรก la cosa que hasta el cielo estรก llorando en la foto (todo el mundo en Murcia sabe que la lluvia no existe asรญ que deben ser lรกgrimas).

Album 15/20: "Celtic Requiem" by Mary McLaughlin. I have multiple religious albums in here despite not being religious, but the opening notes of this album are fantastic and it was always my go to "quiet study album" in college.

The ablum cover looks like an old green engraving of a vulture with a halo above its head and celtic knot work around the outside. Across the top it says "Celtic Requiem" and across the bottom it says "Featuring Mary McLaughlin with William Coulter".

So this article was getting a lot of traction yesterday amongst #AI "haters."

I thought it would help me make an argument I need for a scientific presentation I am preparing, but, as usual (sadly), reading the article carefully and reading the report it derives from shows that people's enjoyment AI hate is more often based on headlines than on detailed reading. smh
