KDE Again Operated At A Loss During 2023

KDE e.V. announced the availability today of their annual report for covering 2023. While they made a lot of accomplishments and worked a lot on KDE Plasma 6 development, it was another year they unfortunately operated in the red funding wise...

[SOLVED: BAD LOGIN] Can't connect to WPA2-EAP on Fedora Kinoite

cross-posted from: lemmy.zip/post/22209812

EDIT: Turns out my login information was slightly wrong, and had nothing to do with security.

My school uses EAP for its student WiFi, but there's no option for "EAP" security (PEAP, LEAP and every other option in KDE's WiFi security settings wouldn't connect). I'm pretty sure there was an option for EAP on Linux Lite (my previous OS before kinoite) which connected successfully. Is it possible to use EAP in Kinoite, and how do I enable/use it?

I've already tried PEAP (didn't work), but I swear Linux Lite had a security option for EAP (which did work).

Talk to your IT help desk. Peap has lots of configuration options

NASA is known for its cool tools, and the space agency has developed another: an autonomous underwater robot. A fleet of these robots will dive deep under Antarctica’s polar ice to help scientists better understand how rapidly the ice is melting due to climate change. I think there is has been an autonomous submarine bot roaming the Great Lakes for a few years as well. Or there was several years ago - I attended a talk on it, by one of the scientists on the project when I was in MN.

Wow! 50 people have checked out my newest track "Just Passing Thru This Reality (Same as Everyone Else)" in less than a week, which is A) a record for fastest to that # of listens for a Metaphysical Shitposting track and B) a mere fraction of the 2.3K+ followers I have, so let's see if we can get it to 100 in the next few days?

@xenolon in the US at least, the droid brand was Verizon's golden boy and they marketed the absolute hell out of it to posture it as *the* iPhone killer, so a lot of people I know used to just call all Android phones “Droids”.

Sorta like how every Android phone now is a “Samsung”. Funny how things work out that way.

September 5, 2024- Bullied child “lone masker” at school, gives up and infects her mother. “It’s not your fault,” I told 16-year-old Cara, whose mother died of a SARS-CoV-2 infection she gave her. To be clear, the doctor confirmed Cara (not her real name) had passed on the virus and Covid was entered on the death certificate as the cause of death.” (Paywall bypass link) - archive.md/2024.09.05-154728/i…

Yo stembitches in college here’s some advice if you’re in a math heavy field… learn symbolic math programs. Use them to check your work and make sure you’re on the right path instead of hoping and praying. The two programs I know of are the symbolic toolbox in #matlab and the sympy library in #python
